  10. I have the GuruRom. I went to take off the ram from my 4008 board
  11. but I could not get it to boot. It would run the hard drive like
  12. it normally did during the Startup but then would lock up before
  13. the EGS screen.

  15. When I rebooted the Amiga Pass thru screen would say my boot volume
  16. was not validated. I would let it validate and then press retry. Then 
  17. let it run the ss and again it would hang.

  19. I tried moving jumper j2 from 2-3 to 1-2 and then jumpered j11 but still
  20. had the same results.

  22. I put back the ram and it worked fine.

  24. I do run EGS and have 32 other megs of memory on my 040 RomTagMem'd to 
  25. configure for a single contiguous block of ram. Does this mean that the 
  26. EGS is using the ram on the board for DMA ram? (RomTagMem is not DMA'd?)
